Wow, It’s February already?

Well, I wanted to take a moment and write about what we have been up to the past month. First, a couple of projects that almost wrapping up. The first one is a project that is 3 in 1, which are the College of Medicine website, their Medical Library website, and the FIU Healthcare Network website. All three are almost wrapped up and should be live in March 2012.

The College of Architecture + The Arts website is another project that we have almost completed. The project is wrapping up its first project phase and will be launching very soon. It will the first of many launches where the first phase consists of launching the overall college website, followed by the schools and programs that fall under it – all with new branding. The project has been great to work on and I can’t wait to see how our audience reacts to the new look and functionality.

Leaving the best for last, another exciting project we will be starting is the FIU Refresh project. This project is a re-alignment of the of the FIU website where content and visual changes will happen. This project is something I have been looking forward to since our team launched the current version of the website. This time around, we will be focusing on having a more solid content strategy throughout the FIU website, some home code cleaning on the backend, and also some new visual upgrades (we’ll keep that a for secret for now) that we have been thinking of doing for a while.

Should be an exciting year!
