The Uweb Meetup Rundown

We are excited to kick off the new year with our first Uweb meetup of 2011 on January 18, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., in GL 835.  Betsy Soler, FIU’s Social Media Community Manager, will be talking about interactive technology and social media in higher education.  FIU Faculty & Staff are invited to attend and share their ideas. Some of the topics being covered are:

  • Where to begin building a higher ed social media presence
  • What are the best practices
  • What are the benefits to the University

We will also be discussing FIU’s Web presence, which you are invited to explore below:
